Match list

The match list is a distribution list extracted from the current audience data utilizing attributes that are selected. It consists of two (2) types, and they are:

  • Match input list
  • Match output list

Match input list#

Consider a 'Match input list' to separate or divide into segments of an original target list.

Only the audience data that exist in the original target list and that match/meet all the designated attributes in the selected 'Match input' list are included in the new target list created based on matching. The specified attribute values are matched based on the user selection/user-defined attributes.

For example: Consider an email campaign with a set of identified users based on the city. Initially, all emails are sent to all the recipients in the list in the match list. After applying the condition for the selected users in a city, the application sends an email by uploading the 'Match input list.'

While saving the output in a separate 'File server,' the audience data are not added to the 'Audience' database.

  • The match list function is like importing any other CSV file type.
  • The data file size - The match list supports five (5) million records at an instance.
  • The number of files - The match list permits the import of 100 files at a single action.
  • The number of column headers - The match list permits up to five (5) column headers at an instance while mapping the data attributes.

The match output list#

The 'Match input' list with the target list applied results in the 'Match output list' generation where all the attributes do not match the original target list, but the attributes match based on the user selection/user-defined attributes.
