Segmentation list

Segmentation of data is dividing the audience data into different groups based on various criteria. The different criteria include gender, location, area of interest, behavioral actions, purchasing pattern, purchase history, warranty, servicing, loyalty information, brand interaction, and other information related to the end-users of a brand.

A segmentation list gets created on the Target list page.

  • The segmentation list gets created based on the import of audience data.
  • In the segmentation list, the records get trimmed/cut based on a filtration condition set by a user.

Note Another list also exists termed ‘Target list’ in a page termed ‘Target list’ page.

  • In the target list page, there are a few lists options like the imported list in the drop-down list.

Note Import the audience data displays as a list based on the source data imported into the application.

Limitations#

  • When the audience data count is more, the upload process time will be more.
  • The date format in the CSV file must match as per the standard date formats.
  • The uploaded data/the audience data count in the dashboard and the target list count do not match as segmentation results from the segregation/grouping of data from the total audience count.
