Alerts & notifications

What is it?Alerts and notifications are communications sent by the platform to a user’s Resulticks notification mailbox to inform them of specific actions, events, or changes. Notices can relate to platform operation or user activities.
Resulticks enables a user to set their preferences for receiving alerts and notifications from the platform.

Authorization and making changesAll user roles can access and set their own preferences. Changes are effective immediately.

Accessing alerts and notifications- Select the Preferences module.
- Select Alerts & Notifications under the General category.

Setting alerts and notificationsSwitch on/off the notices by moving the toggle switch. The default is “Off”.
The detail for each notification is shown below.

No action is required from the user after reading the alerts and notifications. However, the user can check the particular update in the respective module for more details and may also contact the identified individual who has taken the action.

Receiving alerts and notificationsNotifications are received in the user’s notification mailbox. The mailbox will display the number of unread notices.

Using the notification mailbox- Read messages by clicking on the Mailbox icon. All the read alerts will be in grey colour. The icons represent the different update types.
- A tick indicates successfully initiated or completed tasks
- A clock indicates tasks in progress
- An alert sign indicates an updated task
- To mark all notifications as read, click “Mark all as read”. This removes the notification tag from the Resulticks screen.
- To adjust alerts and notifications setting, click on the settings icon.
- To view a list of notifications with more detail, click “View More”

Using the notification list- Sort the list by clicking on the column name and toggling between ascending and descending sorts.
- To get more detail for a particular notification, click the information icon.
- Browse the list, using the scroll icons
- Adjust the list size, using the items per page drop-down
