My profile

What is it?#

My Profile contains a user’s personal information and localization details, which are used in various activities and reports on the platform.

Authorization and making changes#

All users can manage their own settings. Changes are effective immediately. All settings can be changed with the exception of email ID, user role, currency and language. These special fields can be changed only by Administrators and Key Contacts for the account in the Users module under Preferences.

Accessing my profile#

  1. Select the Preferences Module
  2. Select My Profile from the Setup category.

Using my profile#

This section displays user information previously created using the Users section under Preferences. Information displayed for editing here includes:

Personal details

  • User email: Not editable
  • Password: Must contain more than 8 characters with one upper case letter, special character and a number. The Administrator will be notified by email of any changes.
  • Username: Includes the first and last name with a 50-letter limit. Special characters are not allowed.
  • Phone number: Work phone number. Any change will need to be verified with a one-time password code.
  • Address details: Includes street address, city, state, country, and postal code. There is no character limit.
  • User role: Not editable
  • Job function: Select option from the drop-down list

Localization details

  • Currency: Cannot be edited
  • Date format: Select option from the drop-down list
  • Language: Cannot be edited
  • Timezone and format: Cannot be edited

Editing my profile#

To edit the information at any time:

  1. Tab to the individual field.
  2. Add or modify existing information.
  3. Click “Save” to store the information.
